As said above - the high humidity means I'm sweating quite a bit.  I've had to replace 3 patches every day since Saturday and can already feel the 3rd one slipping.  Not had a problem before and I've not changed how I use them, so can only put it down to the humidity.

Having changed them daily it shouldn't make any difference regarding dosage should it?  Feel fine if just a little tired.

Why don't you switch to Oestrogel?  I had the same problem with patches, I could never get them to stick properly, they sometimes came off on their own, I never got enough oestrogen out of them and didn't like wearing them.  I switched to gel and found it to be better in every way and it is much more flexible.

I am having the same problem with my Estradot patches, I can rarely get to day 3!
I asked to change to the gel, but lady doctor wouldn't change my prescription. So I am going to get a telephone appointment with the doctor who I have found easier to agree to prescription changes ;)

I had this problem with FemSeven - I think most people do. It's really difficult to get them to stick and the manufacturers deny that there is a problem at all.

Tinkerbell - I found that Estradot stuck really well with me as long as my skin was dry and I held it firmly in place for at least three minutes. Strange how we are all different. Which part of the body are you sticking them to?

All over the place as they are irritating my skin!
I have most success on left buttock below waistline, but put it same place on right and it doesn't stay stuck :-\
I have started using them on my stomach, but don't like seeing them, silly I know! ::)

Yes I'm favouring the butt too.  They've not been a problem before and can only put it down to the humidity, just seem to be sweating a lot (not flushing). I quite like the regime as it's working quite nicely for me.

If they are irritating your skin then the advice is usually to stop using them Tinkerbell and go back to your doc for a different HRT so it sounds as if this will give you a bit of ammunition when you phone the doc. Estradot is supposed to be placed on the lower abdomen I think according to my information leaflet?

My estradot patches irritate my skin so I tried estrogel and the allergic reaction was much worse, burning itchy skin. I had to take antihistamine and hydrocortisone cream until it wore off, I only used it once. So I've gone back to the patches. My estradot stick much better than the femseven I tried.

Kew, what patches are you using? I currently use Estradot and they stick like glue, I've been on holiday for 3 weeks in & out of water in hot weather and never had any problem with them coming unstuck, I have used Evorel patches in the past and not had a problem with those either though they are much larger than the Estradot. Femseven however were a different kettle of fish, when I used these I had to buy 'Tegaderm' online to place over the patches to keep them in place but then I developed a rash with Femseven anyway so along with other reasons for their unsuitability I changed to Estradot, they're tiny aswell so you hardly notice them.

I'm using the Evorel Conti -  a couple of weeks ago had the same thing happen, especially overnight. Its like a lot of moisture is building up under the patch which seems to coincide with times when it's been very warm.

Maybe you could try the Tegaderm over the top as long as it's applied at the same time as a fresh patch? It's that breathable clear film that they use to keep cannulas and the like in place , it's waterproof & worked perfectly while I was using Femseven, might be just needed while the weather is warm?

I'll second this about Estradot. I live in Brisbane Australia, so I can guarantee you that your temperatures and humidity will rarely, if ever, be higher than ours, but I have never had an problems with heat or humidity making my patches come off.
