I was 39 and my gynae was you cannot possibly be meno, but I insisted that I was getting hot flushes so he did the bloods and what do you know! Luckily he was not silly enough to prescribe AD's....I would get a 2nd opinion. If you do decide to go onto HRT, I cannot speak highly enough about the gel it works a treat....

Update..... Just seen a different doc and am about to have bloods done to check menopausal symptoms... Had a horrendous few nights with the urge to wee - negative for infection so have been given tablets for irritable bladder until I can have a scan done to check for prolapse...  Had about 5 hours sleep in the last few days... Shattered.com x
