Novichok poisoning
« on: July 06, 2018, 04:36:15 PM »

Amesbury Novichok contaminated item search continues ........

??  surely we know not to pick up anything 'un-known'  :-\ ?  In War time one was told not to touch anything ........... and still un-exploded devices are being found across the UK as well as in France, being dug up with tractors.   :o    Apparently there they are taken to the edge of the road by the Farm/s and left for the appropriate Personnel to collect  ::).

I wonder if the truth about what is happening in Salisbury etc. will ever be known?

The news at present is very vague, which makes it more alarming..i expect it will be quite a few days before we hear any actual facts!  x

Really ...........  :-\.  Heads should roll, the area should have been fumigated?

Err I don't think 'fumigation' exactly cuts it with novichok.

My husband is always picking up other people's litter. The other day he found someone's bank card and handed it in. Best not to get too stressed by this. Life continues and the risk is still very small.

But we should not be picking up stuff unless it's obviously 'lost'.  But then people shouldn't be littering, there is a general assumption that someone else will pick up, it's seen around here on bin day  ::)

I don't think they really know what's happened.  I read that the couple found the syringe in a bin but if that's the case I can't believe that the bin hasn't been emptied in 4 months.

My thoughts too.  'murder' at this point is a little strong - presently there is no talk in the Press that they were targeted.  Un-explained death would be better ......... maybe a PM will find other issues that might explain her death.

They have found it.

Small bottle in the victims flat. Let's hope that's the last of it.

Presumably the bloke affected has been able to inform the Police ........ but how did they come upon it?

My guess is that they found it in the park. Perhaps they thought it was drugs, who knows.
