Sometimes HRT needs a hike because the hormones are over-riding the medication  ::).  Also, eating every 3 HOURS, 24/7, 52/12 is essential.  Especially in the early hours, have a biscuit beside the bed to nibble ……… low blood sugar can cause emense anxiety surges  :-\

I'm diabetic so no biscuits for me. :'( I do try and eat regularly and to make sure that what I eat doesn't cause dips and surges.

No worries. I try to eat regularly as it stops the dips and also means I never eat huge meals that spike me through being over hungry when I dish up. I have breakfast within thirty minutes of getting up, them lunch around 3 hrs later. Mid afternoon I have a soy based decaff and some dark chocolate for my magnesium intake then I will have dinner around 3hrs later and then a decaff and half an apple with cheese at bedtime as a snack. I may have a few nuts if I stay up late as that seems to help get me through the night.

Brazil nuts are radioactive ;D ;D  anyone working in the nuclear industry can't eat them or they set off the sensors :)  Honest.
The nuts contain radium in very small quantities as the trees absorb this out of the ground.
I doubt anyone can eat enough nuts for it to be dangerous but it does make you think ::)
