Polyps and hormones
« on: June 03, 2016, 03:35:10 PM »

Been on angelique for six months now but began bleeding again, not heavy or even period like also heavier bleeding after sex, been diagnosed with a polyp which I'm waiting for appointment to have removed, my concern is that over past fortnight all my symptoms have returned, hot flushes and terrible night sweats, I'm wondering can polyps have an affect on your hormones or is the HRT not working. GP doesn't want to change anything until I've had polyp removed as I was doing well beforehand. Anyone have any advice or info? Feeling very low again.  :( :(

My polyp bled on contact and disappeared when I went into peri  ::)

It could be that your own hormones are over-riding the HRT.  Do you have an admission date?

Who prescribed your HRT?  Maybe have a chat with a Pharmacist?
