Sorry you are still having problems DG.
I am still taking 100mg progesterone nightly by mouth for 25 d/mo. I was initially using 50mg patch, dropped down to 35mg/patch for last two months but the vaginal issues are coming back so back up to 50mg patch the last 2 wks.
I was initially staying off progesterone for only 3 days, but I still felt some build up. Now I stay off it for 5 days....25 yes + 5 no = 30 days/mo without any spotting or bleeding.
As my doctor made me get off vagifem with this regimen
, I cut the 50mg patch in half and use 25mg alone for the 5 days I don't take progesterone. I never liked the vagifem anyway as it burned me on the second day after using it.
With one pump of estrogen....I can't imagine you need as much progesterone you are taking.
NOTE: TOO MUCH PROGESTIN CAN CAUSE BLEEDING FROM ENDOMETRIAL ATROPHY (you can research this)
edit to add: In me....too much progestin/progesterone causes bladder and urethral atrophy to be much worse, with increased blood in urine.
