Because norethisterone is a strong synthetic protgestogen it may well be that your body is reacting to the withdrawal (this is like normal pmt - headache, tension, irritability etc) - so you would have experience this when you first started the sequi. Then in addition you may also be reacting to progestogen increasing ie going back onto the conti (combi) patches. I would try these for 3 months to see if it is due to the build up of norethisterone - and then as Noodle suggests try a different type. if you want to stay with transdermal then the only other combi one is Femseven. Otherwise it's the same as many of us use on here - which is oestrogen patch or gel with separate progesterone (Utrogestan).

Thanks for all your replies, it's so reassuring having somewhere I can ask these questions and get the opinions of others :-)
I'll keep going for a couple more months and see how I get on.....
