These feelings eventually started to go for me when I went into proper therapy. It started with NLP when I first noticed I wasn't reacting or feeling the anxiety to certain things anymore and I was explained to about the electrical charges in the brain that situations especially as a child cause to the emotions and patterns of behaviour we then take into adult hood. I then went into it all further by having analytical hypnotherapy this allowed me to see the reasons behind my responses like the one you talked about, holding your stomach and feeling the anxiety. It uses the sub conscious to see what was exactly going on then you recall it sort the emotion out and then the rewiring happens and you know what it goes. I can honestly say if I hadn't done all of this I definitely would be a mess going thru menopause instead it's just the physical and that's bad enough!
