I love my sheepskin slippers and live in them at this time of year...I wear them with bare feet and they are fab. I have pj's for lounging in but don't wear them in bed  ???

I like to dress smart for work and put some make up on, soon as I'm home it's all change and no bra 😅

My PJs are for bed but if I have 'dressed up' for any reason it all comes off the minute I get home and I put on my old faithfuls  :)

I am glad this thread has morphed into a funny chat thread, really friendly and no mention of meno  :-X

I have to admit when I get home, my shoes, tights and anything with a waistband come off and something longer-line goes on top.  Then I put on my lilac-velvet-y slippers (do you think they'll go well with the blazer I'm getting for my birthday?  ;D) and slump around.  Comfy!   Re. me and my skirts, I do own two denim ones (my version of jeans!) and in fact I'm wearing one today... :)

Snap Dulciana - as it's Friday and normally dress down day in the office, I am wearing a denim pencil skirt... I work from home on Fridays so this is my version of dressing down.

It certainly would but it's a wee bit nippy this morning, plus I might frighten off my cleaner! :o

Working in a school i rarely dress up now. For school its usually black trousers with a bright top to cover up the snot, dinners, paint etc  ;D
At home skinny jeans with a t shirt and cardi, usually a gilet on top as I'm always cold.
If i do go out i always wear thick black tights to cover up the veins and long sleeves to cover up bingo wings (painting o lovely picture here)
Once 6 o'clock hits it's pjs and dressing gown unless someone is coming, even then it's 50/50!

 ;D

DH used to criticise my clothes for work when I was an early years teacher. I refused to buy expensive clothes only to have them covered with snot and paint! I did dress as smartly and colourfully as I could in cheaper, very washable clothes, as children are very upfront about how you look.

One thing I do find, and feel both sad and guilty about, is that I probably only wear 5-10% of my clothes, and the others just sit in drawers / hang in the wardrobe. Some of them because they're not appropriate for the average day, but others because I just tend to take the item from the top of the pile. I think I should probably get rid of them, but they still fit, they're good quality and they were never trendy so they haven't gone out of fashion, plus I'm actually rather fond of them. I just need to find a reason to wear them I suppose  :-\

Someone once said to me 'don't keep your best things for best, you might never get to use them' so I try to use all my things.  I don't have a lot anyway so am not spoiled for choice.

I completely agree, babyjane.  Clothes are there to be worn and enjoyed!
