just realised I haven't had a hot flush all day and I generally have them more than I dont. I have only had the patch on 24 hours can they really work that fast or is this a fluke

It could be a fluke or it could be working already. Everyone is different. I did read somewhere that week 1 relief is a placebo effect, weeks 2-3 are horrible, and week 4 it starts actually working. But I've seen reports on forums of it working fantastically within 24-48 hours. I hope it continues for you!

Is the patch stronger than your previous HRT ?
I am not familiar with all HRT - were you on oral HRT before ?
Maybe you absorb better from a patch ?
Smile and enjoy

I haven't got a clue . the patch is 50mcgs and the premarin was the mefium atrength one. yes all the previous hrt wss oral this is first time I have had a patch. the specialist did say they cant tell how much is absorbed orally and for me to try the patch.I just cant let myself believe that years of suffering could be over so fast. lets hope it lasts and lets hope it helps my low mood .

I went from prempak c to patches and felt better within 24/48 hours, it's a while ago now but I seem to remember the feeling of well being lasted a few weeks

still no flushes but woke up early hours room spinning and nausea I thought hope its not side effects of the patch my husband took me walk in centre and I mentioned the patch and side effects but they dont think its that they said probably labrynthitis and gave me some pills. I hope its not the patch I seem to be having success with it so id be gutted if it is. its changeover day for it today.
