No, not the tinned stuff.  ;D

I'm inundated by unwanted spam from such places as Adult Dating. How the hell do I stop this rubbish. I block every single one, then up it pops again from another address.

No I'm not into any seedy goings on. Spoke to hubby & he never gets this stuff. I would stop looking at my spam folder,  but occasionally there is something important actually diverts to it, like house insurance.

Lucky you!  After a while they stop.  Some sites though even when 'deleted' without being opened, shows that a computer is 'active'.

I went through a spell of getting a lot of unwanted emails. I used to spend a lot of time un subscribing. I would then get more and more from other sites. I'm sure by putting my email in the unsubscribe box that I was just providing more sites with my email address.
I have just deleted them now for a long while and surprise surprise I don't get nearly as many as I used to.

Never unsubscribe from these emails. They are mostly phishing emails looking to gather information. Once you send back an unsubscribe notice you let them know you are an active email address so that tells them to send you more. Also you could be opening yourself up to giving away personal information or even worse being infected with malware viruses.

All you can do is don't open, ignore and delete. Depending on the type of email you use some can be "taught" what is spam and will automatically move them to your spam folder. You still have the chance to check the folder before deleting to make sure nothing important has slipped through.

I've been blocking these emails, but they just keep appearing. Now just delete them. Hubby says he never gets them. I must be more irresistible than him.  ;D

Thanks breeze but I'm not bothered by the spam to be honest as it sits in my junk folder and I delete it without reading but for others it's important to know not to click on any of it.
