Hi I have been on femoston for now nearly two months, after my first 28 days I had a very heavy bleed for nearly 9 days now just over a week since that I have started to bleed again with terrible pain etc. Not sure what to do. I am 46

At 46 you may still be peri menopausal and 2/10 is the higher dose so will build the womb up quite a bit, especially if your own hormones are kicking in as well. During the peri meno stage, oestrogen will fluctuate quite widely and if you are on a high dose of HRT this could result in heavier and longer bleeds.

Why did you start HRT? What symptoms are you trying to control? Why are you on the higher dose? Higher doses of oestrogen don't necessarily mean things will be that much better.  DG x
