Briony - they have randomly improved and so have the anxiety levels! I feel relieved but actually quite insane at the swings and ups and downs.  I can sense I am on a knife edge to tip over again.  It's really challenging.  Thank you for the tip about the Probiotics - I was actually sent some samples from Vogel of a prebiotic drink they do, so I have started trying that today - maybe the IBS really is the issue and the fibroids are activating it around ovulation - that's my sense anyway.

I will look into the painkillers - for some reason (oh yes the anxiety) I am wary of taking stronger stuff, only because I haven't before etc and another thing to worry about - but really, if it gets that bad again, I will talk to the pharmacist. Thanks for your hug.

Nefersmum - it is truly awful to feel in bits, in whatever way that is triggered.  I really don't remember feeling this out of balance at puberty!!!
