Feel really unwell

hi ladies
I have been managing various symptoms of the meno since it hit me earlier this year using vits and supplements and cutting down on alcohol and caffeine etc. my last period which was very heavy was about three months ago. For the past few weeks I have suffered really low mood, tears and dark thoughts plus in the past two weeks tender breasts and period pains plus aching hips and low appetite. I always had painful period pains but this just seems to be every day. I work full time and am off to work today feeling really unhappy and uncomfortable.
Don't feel on top of things and scared not to feel me x

Hi Zarzar
I'm on Hrt and have Ms and I don't feel well a good proportion of the last few months what with period pains before period, during and recently a good few days after, seem to have fuzzy head really sore dry eyes and like you aches and pains and of course the ms exhaustion.
I'm sure it's got to get better, just keep saying tomorrow's another day 😃
Keep positive, I hope you feel better soon.

changes can be scary, even when we want them

Time for HRT maybe? Have a chat with your Practice Nurse for a 'well woman' check and raise the issues?

Yes, don't suffer. Go and see your doctor. Ask if in your surgery they have a doctor specialising in HRT.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me. Half the trouble is feeling so out of it you assume no one else could possibly understand. Thank goodness for the lovely meno ladies on this forum.
I am going back to the docs. I can't take HRT as I have a health history that makes it tricky but just looking through the threads on this forum means I have a better feeling about what can be done, what people have tried and some virtual friends to chat with if it all gets too much!
thank you again

Some of the recent research might mean that any health problems previously ruling out HRT might not be applicable! Take a list of symptoms with you.

I ditto what has been said above.
The HRT may even help some of your past issues.
A lot has changed and the current HRT is much more sophisticated.
