This time last week I thought I was going to lose my dog, but the vet's treatment has sorted her out and she is back to her old self now.  Just had a lovely snuffly cuddle from her.

Great news Dorothy.  I myself have 4 pooches and would be heartbroken to lose any of them.

Well, it's Friday (yeeha) off to Crufts tomorrow for some shopping.

And also since being on my HRT patches I've lost 4lbs (over 4 weeks) - need to keep it up, determined not to put on weight while on HRT

Been to the cinema this afternoon. 'Silver screening' for the over 55s.

Free tea and a biscuit and all for only £3.

There are positives to getting older.

My son was told today that he has been given the position of Peer Support Mentor, he is in year 10 at school.

The news has had me in tears, he worked so hard with submitting his application and the interview process.

He has been really supportive to me and his younger sister who was diagnosed with PTSD after her father attempted suicide two years ago and he so deserves to get this position.

Off to find the tissues again!
