Hi Pollie

I'm not very familiar with Androfeme - although someone else mentioned it a while back and I had a quick read then. The main thing is that it's a cream rather than a gel? If so then it is likely that the absorption profile is different from gel and therefore the total amount that you apply to your skin may well not be comparable - this is talking from my head here.

I've had another look at the Androfeme info and it says 5 mg is the usual starting dose. 10 mg does seem like lot if it is absorbed in a simialr way to testogel but as I said in my previous post below it also depends where you are in meno and how much oestrogen you have too.

Also Annie Evans said she doesn't measure T levels because the tests we have in UK are not sensitive enough to be accurate at the lower end of the T range - where women are - as the test is the same used for men who have much higher T levels. The other thing she said was that I might not feel the full effects until after 4-5 months so to give it that long - so 4 weeks might be a bit optimistic!

Good luck though - and I am wondering why you are choosing this rather than Testogel if you are having levels tested - so the cost probably isn't an issue? I presume it's because it is specficially designed for women? Maybe it's easier to measure the dose? I certainly would be very interested to have feedback if you do get some - although now I've been on the gel since May I am loath to change anything! I do have to put up with hairier thighs though - but that is a small thing and easily dealt with ( and don't have to worry at this time of year!).  Interested to see also that Androfeme is supposed to be applied to outer thigh but I apply to inner thigh - I can't actually remember what Dr Annie said about precise location apart from thigh!

I agree about the muscular thing - to me that was more important than libido and that has definitely worked :)

Problem is - do I now have to use it for the rest of my life - at least as long as I want to take decent exercises that develop/maintain core strength  :-\

Good luck anyway :)
