Hi all, can somebody please help me, feeling so depressed and  poorly. I came off Continuous patches as gyne said it was causing bleeding, he then left me with nothing which was horrendous. I went to my GP and he put me on Tibilone, which I have been on  for about 2 months . About two weeks ago suddenly felt so  ill with period type cramps, dizziness  and tired low mood. Is this because I am not getting enough estrogen, does anybody know.?

Sorry to hear about this charliegirl. If you go to the forum home page and then put tibolone or livial into the search box, some other threads should come up where this is discussed.

Are you definitely post-menopausal - it does seem odd to suddenly feel ill like that with cramps? Have you checked the side effects in the product leaflet? There is more detailed information here: http://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/medicine/8552

Also your doctor could have suggested you go onto a cycle which is recommended for some women whose bleeding on conti HRT does not settle after 3-6 months which I presume yours didn't? I know it means having a bleed but at least it would be predictable.
