Puzzling question.......
« on: November 19, 2015, 09:13:04 PM »

Not really of any importance but I was just wondering as you do in the bath..................

How can flying possibly either delay a period, make you miss one altogether or bring one on early ?

I really must get out more.         ;D

I said  I must get out more !

But I think that I've got my head around what the hormones do in the cycle so how does flying impact on that ?  :-\

I was never worried or stressed by flying but my period always use to go haywire when I was younger.

Don't stay in too long ladies or you'll prune.  ;D

Yep.  When women are housed together, i.e. Convents or boarding schools, the menstrual cycle will happen for them all within 4-5 days.  Can you imagine the impact of PMT in the week before  ;D

Flying across time zones upsets the body.  I found when on holiday abroad even if I wasn't due a period, a change of water would bring it on  >:(

I tend to read a Very Good Book with a cuppa in my bath  ;D

I suppose it's possible that it does effect periods. As I don't have them any more, I have no real idea.  OK assuming you're not pregnant, I found this article explaining how flying can upset your periods. Thank goodness I never trained as cabin crew, mine were irregular enough.  ::)
