changes can be scary, even when we want them

For me it was the nausea that I couldn't tolerate
I got used to the heavy headed feeling - once the depression lifted I realised that I had a Life again
. Some days the hung over effect is there, it does depend on how heavily I sleep too

Being heavy headed is a brilliant way of describing it! Luckily I very rarely get nausea, headaches are my thing!
It's the downess and increased anxiety that are the worst start up symptoms for me. But then it's difficult to know whether that is the depression anyway!

I'm the Duloxetine lady from the other thread....
Yes a diary is a useful tool for reference.

Hi, I couldn't sleep properly, felt 'not with it' & seemed more anxious/tearful. The insomnia is a major side effect for me - the only way I could get a decent night's sleep was with sleeping pills (and I still woke up quite early!). I will be starting the oestrogel hrt in a few days so I am hoping that helps. X

I look forward to hearing how you get on, I dislike the 2nd half of my cycle and find that my mood drops too.
Keep us posted xx
