Please help am on Elleste 1mg for nearly two weeks I feel even worse angry and weepy is this normal and will it pass I feel like stopping it because it is causing me to argue with my hubby like bad PMS any advice please

Hi and 

I started of my meno /hrt journey with 1mg estelle and did very well on it,having said that you will need to persevere with any hrt as it doesn't help overnight unfortunately. The rule of thumb is to give it a couple of months to allow your body to adjust to the new regime. Sorry you are feeling like this but it's still early days yet. Hope you start feeling better soon. A good idea is to start a diary and write down every day how you are feeling ,sometimes its easy not to see the wood for the trees and when you look back on a daily diary you might more easily see improvements,if not you have a record to take with you if you need to go back to gp .

I know had awful it feels to be in the place you are now but you haven't completed one cycle yet 
When we feel bad we all want to be better straight away but it does take a little while to settle. Hang on in there,start that diary and try to eat regularly,gentle exercise,rest when you need to ,in short do all you can to help it along at this point in our lives we have to re evaluate how we lead our lives and take appropriate action.

i was exactly the same when i started the elleste 1mg.. wanted results straight away... upset, paranoid it wasnt working . .. up and down like a yoyo . .. im about 11 weeks in now.. first thing i noticed was the physical symptoms started to disappear.. then slowly my mood lifted ... its still not quite there yet.. but def an improvement... i was in tears  every day initially.. hang in there xx
