Hi, I joined a while ago but not been on & now trying to find my way around so apologies if posting in wrong place & any guidance gratefully received.  I am approaching 49 yrs old & had hysterectomy 14 yrs ago however think I have been perimenopausal for years but now getting so much worsening symptoms & could do with some advice! due to see gp this week & really not sure which route to take re medication etc! had hrt in past but didn't really feel any great difference tbh, apologies again if I'm in wrong place x

Hi Chezzym - Welcome back.

Sorry to hear your symptoms are getting so much worse.  It's a good idea to get your thoughts together before seeing your GP.

You mention that you've tried HRT in the past, what type would that have been?
Also, what symptoms in particular are worsening for you at the moment?

I'me not sure if this is posted in the correct place but I'me sure somebody will suggest the best location for it, perhaps PM Emma and ask for advice?  The main thing is you've posted.

Hi chezzym - welcome back.

How long did you stay on your HRT for last time? It can take a while to kick in depending on which symptoms you are hoping to relieve.
