Oh, the tiredness! Yes. 3pm in the afternoon and tiredness so much that I could fall asleep standing up. I used to travel a lot and even jet lag induced tiredness never came close to how it feels at times.

Thanks Abby, I would not do anything without running it past my endocrinologist but thank you.  I will e mail him

I would definitely try and get some.. I feel as if my energy got a total jumpstart... and I don't have any side effects, I'm increasing my dose at the moment trying 3 grains.. I'm on 2.5 right now and feel fine!

You need to get a referral to a Specialist.  This is an entitlement under the NHS.  Glad that the 'stuff' is helping but really, one shouldn't need to have to buy medications 

Do you have a Pharamcy locally, maybe go and have a chat with the Pharmacist - they have private rooms - and ask for advice regarding endo. and how you can get a referral.  If necessary tell him/her that the GP refuses to acknowledge your thyroid results or better, ring the Consultant at the Hospital.

Let us know how you get on with a Pharmacist.  Explain your results and tell him/her that you are worried that the GP doesn't seem to be taking them seriously and does he/she have any advice ……..
