Well i went back to the doctor this morning and as exspected my hormone levels are normal, but im very anemic which exsplains some of the tiredness combined with the disturbed sleep.
I now have to have more bloods and am being refered to gynecologist.

Im ok with all of this as after joining here i thought this would be the plan but i found she contradicted some of the things the first doctor said! She seemed to think i was too young for meno but as my gran was 38 and my mum earliy 40s i dont agree and im text book symptoms, she seemed more conserned with the iron issues, dont get me wrong she was very helpful but im left abit unsettled.

Just wanted to send some sympathy. It drives me mad that even now, GPs are saying we're too young. I was 'lucky' in that even though my FSH was normal, my estrogen wasn't, so they did at least accept I needed estrogen. You only have to read this forum to see that many women were in peri and even menopause before they were 40. xx

NO ONE IS EVER TOO YOUNG  :bang: :bang: :bang:

Off soap box now  ;) …….. get your iron count sorted and keep communication open with the GP.  She is probably on a learning curve too  ::) ….. keeping a food/mood diary might help you too (thought I keep forgetting to fill mine in  ;D : another symptom of meno.).  I was mid 40s when I went into peri..
