Sorry not me. I've been so stressed this year I've lost weight, though if I was trying I would be glad but as I'm not I get scared that if the docs knew they would say 'oh dear must be some dread disease causing the weight loss' lets investigate. so i cant even enjoy it.
Sorry I have have been no help at all.

Have you had thyroid and other tests done eg re blood sugar/diabetes etc? Also when peri-menopause begins and hormones fluctuate dramatically, this can also affect appetite and blood sugar and lead to carb cravings at certain times.

I guess you just need to make sure that when your appetite is voracious you try to fill up on foods that won't put on weight ie low fat, low sugar, not processed foods, and reduce alcohol if need be. Try to limit your treats to small amounts - a taste of choc, a tiny bit of cake, a few crisps etc. Easier said than done - but hopefully might work?!

Im waiting for the blood test results for both of them, should jnow next week, its carbs that i seem to crave!

Though iv had my teenagers at home for a very long collage holiday so that might also be adding to the comfort eating lol

Normally im very active i have a cross trainor and i walk the dogs for a hour twice a day but at the moment I fund i just dont have much energy to do both!

Before HRT, when my anxiety was rice and my mood all over the place I lost nearly a stone. Since starting HRT and especially since swapping to the Pill 2 weeks ago I have noticed a big increase in appetite again, and I have re gained that stone nearly.

It's annoying, but I'd rather feel cheerful and be a size 14, than a small size 12 and waking in the night and crying my eyes out.

Could be water retention?
