Oh don't get me started on 'where's the tweezers' gone episodes - it's that strange woman I'm sure of it !  ;D

Don't forget to look at my thread 'My Chin'

My best feature I think is my hair so I like to keep it looking good,as they say, it's your crowning glory.
Don't like my upper arms so tend to wear 3/4 sleeve tops to hide them.
M&S have a nice range,plain or patterned.
I don't like my middle and keep trying to pull it in.  Use to have 22" waist in my teens but have got to remember I've had 3 kids, menopausal & in my 50's. That's what my friend keeps telling me.

Honeybun- went into Matalan yesterday with DD as she wanted some Jeans. Nothing suitable for her but she picked a pair out for me,slim leg,and they fitted perfectly. £10 a pair and the denim is really soft. I bought a dark denim and a slightly lighter pair.

I looked in M&S (or as Himself kept saying, S&M) at a long-line lacey jumper thing, but it was too long for me  ::).  Autumn stuff in already  :'(

My boots arrived this morning....and I really like them. They are for my birthday later this month, picked by me, payed for....well joint account to be fair  ::)

Now I just need new jeans. I will take a look in Matalan soon....the nearest one to me is 25 miles away unfortunately.

Look on-line first?  Then give them a ring to see if they carry the stock?

Haven't looked in the mirror yet today  ::)

For the first time ever in my life, I'm using a professional dressmaker to make me something - a concert dress, for December.  There's someone local whose costs are very reasonable and has had excellent reviews.  I'm going to choose some lovely fabric in a colour that really suits me because I want to look good, as well as sound good!  ::)

Not clingy material either!  There's some lovely fabrics around ………. makes me wish I was clever with a needle  ;D

Definitely not, CLKD - not slippery, either, because the organ bench is wooden and I don't want to end up down amongst the pedals when I move my feet around!

Just wanted to add something else here - even though we're all menopausal, we're still allowed to want to look good!!

Thankfully, I've found M & S jeans which sit on the waistline, so at least that's one problem sorted.  ;D

Maybe they need a nice new top to go with them, Grangravy............ ::)
