You describe it perfectly. Like CKLD says, it's crushing. I nearly always get nausea and chills at same time. After a while, I noticed that it nearly always came before a period (but at that point my periods were irregular). I was absolutely convinced it was my thyroid but six months of HRT/pill and it has all but stopped. When I posted on here about it previously, someone said it's also connected to your progesterone levels. High progesterone can cause fatigue, like it does at start of pregnancy. Even though you don't take it with your estrogen, I wonder if your own progesterone is still fluctuating? I was surprised to still get it (randomly) when I first starting taking estrogen but it's gradually calmed - it's now manageable whereas before I felt almost drunk with it (the post-drunk feeling rather than the happy-drunk one!).
Anyone else hate the fact that when day time fatigue arrives, you feel more awake than normal once you're in bed that night ?!! Tired but wired
