Can't believe I did this the other day, but thought I'd give you a giggle.

Supermarket came with my grocery delivery.  My coconut milk had been replaced with UHT version. Except that's not what I said to delivery guy. He asked if replacement was fine, I said HRT milk was perfectly OK as I only cook with it. He carried on without so much as a giggle saying "Do you normally get fresh?" Well I had to suppress my giggles.

Oh that's a good one CG.....It probably went straight over his head. 

I don't know if they still exist but a few years ago there was a Formula 1 racing team called HRT. I always got the giggles when they were mentioned.
Hubby and son kept looking at me as if I were nuts.....but did not have a clue.

HRT were a packing Company I think ….. bit like Royal Mail or the vans which are brown but whose name escapes me.

I had to read it twice Cubagirl ……. I tried coconut milk last week but would rather buy a real coconut

I use coconut milk for sauces & baking mainly. Occasionally hot chocolate, better than soya which I detest!

I love fresh coconut milk  ……. not keen on the 'meat' too chewy  .  He uses either pressed coconut milk or from a tin for curries, once the pressed bag is opened I have to keep away from the drawer

I am going to get the giggles every time I see a box of UHT milk now

Just shows which way my HRT starved brain was working.
