hot stuff lol
« on: April 24, 2015, 09:54:17 AM »

hi, ladies anyone experienced. very hot vagina, throbs and feels slightly swollen, and feel slightly heavy when you stand up.. any ideas ladies .... doesnt feel like my usual atrophy feelings at all. saw the gyne, she said i looked healthy up there. so what is it.. vagifem seems to make me glow, so could it be just a reaction suddenly to the vagifem i have used for many years.. or could it be nerve sensitivity, im at a loss with this one.. five weeks now. either atrophy , or swelling and heat... i cant win xxx i have been given amitriptyline, but nervous about using it..

what would that help with ?

http://www.drugs.com/sfx/amitriptyline-side-effects.html

I'm stunned. I've actually found something that has a list of side effects sooooo long that I almost had a nap half way thru scanning down the page.

Positively scary that your offered this instead of first trying some HRT that would give you a possible break from Vagifem.

I really can't see the logic in giving you this serious drug for the symptoms your telling us about?!

have you considered going onto patch/gel or tablet form of HRT first?
or is doc giving it doom and gloom on that route?

it might give you some time to help reduce the inflammation without going fully without estrogen as that may make things worse in other ways and you end up with causes, old and new symptoms overlapping.

keep the variables to the minimum first.

also adding that AD into the mix is not quite as easy to come off as some might say.

hi, i know having a patch seems a good idea, but its one i have never been offered..  i know many ladies on here have both, vaginal hrt and patches.. not sure why i have never been offered it... but the last gyne seemed to think if i had been on patches in the past i would not have got atrophy now, .. but never mentioned added it at this point...
