Sleeping with the arm on a pillow? to ease any swelling in wrist, hand, fingers?

Woke up quite a few times. Decided to wear my splint overnight to keep my thumb straight. Pain is a little easier this morning but still need painkillers. Think it's internal bruising.

Got to drive this morning as I have to pick my new glasses up from the Opticians. Will see how I am driving.  If too painful will come back and pick them up next week instead.
