I've been on femoston conti1/5 for about 4 months now starting New regime of 3 months estrogen only what is the " life " of the progesterone I have been on,I mean how long will it take for it to have cleared my system approximately? Gynecologist thinks I'm intolerant to it

I think you were taking norethisterone...
Norethisterone 5mg has a half life of 5-12 hours, mean half life is 7.6 hours. After 24 hours there's usually only about 1% of the original dose left.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Gladriel I only took the norethisterone for 12 days to give me a " spring clean " as he calls it ! For the rest of the 4 months I was on femoston conti so 5 mgs progesterone every day . Would that be the same I thought I'd read somewhere that it stayed in your system a while?

It doesn't hang around for long... Most of it gets zapped by the liver first. In my experience the effects are usually gone within 48 -60 hours.

Not personally but I am familiar with the regimen... It should work well to counteract the intolerance you experience... If you only have to go through 4 sessions per year it's much easier than every month!
