Been living on 3-4 hours of broken sleep for last 6 months. Was desperate. I'm on my second month of hrt ( first month was 25 now 37.5ug). In the last week I've been getting 7 hours of unroken  sleep every night. Plus a nap one day. I'm beside myself. Praying it is not an aberration as my hormones are all over the place.

Same as me then dogdoc - lucky to get 3 or 4 hours normally - and has been that way for so long....it really is miserable isn't it!  I really hope this isn't just a one off!

When I went back on HRT I started to sleep better but when I started the Utrogestan I finally got 5 whole hours sleep without having to get up for a pee - SUCH BLISS. I'm seriously thinking of taking the Utrogestan continuously.  DG x

I have been having some pretty intense vivid dreams too. Some are downright nightmarish. Don't care though. I will take sleep anytime!!!

Yippee!  Wonderful news.

I am sleeping much better too recently.

Has anyone tried 'snore and peace' tea...I've recently swapped from chamomile to that & I'm not sure if its connected, but I do seem to sleep better since.

Lol. I love these teas. I used to be able to drink a cup of coffee right before bed then sleep just fine. Now I drink sleepy time tea. Or nighty night.  :D

Sadly seemed it was a one off - woke several times again last night.  I too have the most bizarre dreams - its a wonder we're all even remotely sane...

Have you tried Epsom Salts baths?  I have one twice a week and nearly fall asleep while I'm in it...

Hello ladies.

Oh I'm going to annoy you all now and say that sleep has never been much of a problem for me and I've yet to need a pee in the night, however I can't afford to be smug because during the day I am a nervous wreck and feeling especially crap at the moment! It seems the Lord gives with one hand and takes away with the other lol. Certainly the comment about it's a wonder we are remotely sane rang a bell with me.

Take care everyone.

K.
P.S I snooze okay but I still get the horrible dreams...

I have never had a problem sleeping on the back of a motorbike!    :o

But sleep eluded me for a while in bed before taking HRT. Now I sleep better, with only the odd bad night. I dream a lot and it's like living 2 lives, awake and asleep. Great fun! When I can't sleep, I get up or read or listen to an audio story.
