Move surgery. Even if you were to get this resolved, you'd never trust them again. Secretary was very much in the wrong for discussing this matter, supposedly off the record.

They'll know why you've left. Do so with your head held high & as HB says a polite letter.

Unfortunately some doctors were absent on the day they were teaching bedside manner and they also thing they are one step down from God.

Sadly I've worked with some of them  :-X

Let us know what you decide.

HB, the letter is an excellent idea, thank you.
I think I will also say that I was disappointed by the secretary's actions, and that she has contributed to my decision to move.

Sounds good to me.

Move first, letter second, then you won't be left without a doctor.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

I used to work for a medical regulator.  The surgery have behaved appallingly in my view.  It does not ring right to me that the secretary commented via facebook not.professional.  go to the parliamentary ombudsman and your ccg do not just feel pressured to move when you are being put undsr presshre.  Not acceptable.  Pm if you need help.
