CBT
« on: February 24, 2015, 06:56:02 PM »

Hi having been to a counceller via my gp for my anxiety, including health anxiety im starting cbt, and have been given the website www.getselfhelp.co.uk, seems very good, some of you may already know about this but just incase.

Another thing with me is Ive become afraid to exercise incase something bad happens, silly I know so Im going to record every little work out now starting with short walks and building up, noting how I feel, what I predicted would happened, outcome etc, I think the sheets are also on the site.

Little steps....

Now can anybody tell me how to sort out night sweats/flushes without hrt x

Nope - flushes didn't bother me fortunately.  I think having a structure to my day helps.  It's OK if I do something spontaneously, it's having to plan 'stuff' that throws me into an anxiety state  :-\
