 is there any of you ladies who as any good feed back on evoral conti patches I would like to know thanks x

I have used both sequi and conti with no problems.

It took a few months to settle onto conti but I have reasonable symptom control.

thanks honeybun ..iv decided to try it .stuck one on yesterday and fingers crossed ill see how it goes .I can feel a bit of a migraine coming and going at the moment x

If this is your first try then you can start with half a patch and build up to a whole one. They are easy to cut and stick well.

It might minimize your side effects.

yes ill do that .I have tried before but stopped ..thought id give it another go .I get a bit scared at fist thinking about the dangers that's why I quit .but when reading most of the positive affects it as on women it makes me want to give it another go x

hi julesishappy..still got my patch on but I cut it in half and the migraine head seems to have gone this morning the doseage could be too high in the full patch.it could be the progesterone causing the nausea may be the doseage could be a little too high for you as well .affects do seem to happen quick with a patch I noticed a difference not long after I cut it in half x

Can't help here as in I haven't tried it, but you wouldn't need to throw the other half away, if it is exactly a half dose you are wanting! Just keep it carefully in its little outer foil envelope and use it the next time. Personally, though, I wouldn't go down to a half once you've had a few weeks on a whole patch though. if it is the progestogen causing the side effects cutting it will also reduce the oestrogen - and would be better to try another product rather than cut it.

I would presevere for a few more weeks if you can and see how you feel then.

I have been on evorel conti for 5 years and decided to come off for a break but they are very good at sticking in that respect and when you come off your suppose to come off slowly so I cut it  in half for a month then quarter for are. I think and weened off that way the progesterone in Hrt may not agree with everyone and so may have to change to one that suits you but do give it a chance at least 3 months they say, but if concernd speak to your meno nurse or doctor but I expect you  will get regular checks anyway for weight and blood pressure so will have chance to discuss any issues

hi js..were they any good at getting rid of the menopause symptoms and how long was it before you saw a difference.been on them over a week now and no change yet x
