Thanks everyone, however I have still not seen any improvement , in either my physical or mental health. My night sweats have increased and I am waking up with horrendous anxiety, that does not go away until midday, then comes back later on in the evening. Before HRT i always felt better once home from work and relaxed but the last few days this has not. Bern the case. I am starting the prog part of the course tomorrow and not sure if this is going to make me feel worse, very miserable at at the moment, and beginning to think that the nurse was right and maybe I was clinically depressed after all and should have given the AD's a go first.
Hi
I would give the femoston a good chance to work.
HRT can take a few goes to work, and it can be disheartening, but it pays off in the end.
Femoston can take longer for some women to work.
I gave it about a year, and then emailed Dr Curry, after that I went onto patches which are working much better for me, so they may be an option for you further down the line.
A year was far too long, but I got disheartened as my normally nice doctor turns into pis*sed off mode when hormones are discussed.
I went to another two doctors, who were not keen to change my hrt, cos of migraines etc, but in the end I saw yet another doctor who gave me it no problems.
Don't be put off like me doing nothing for a year and suffering.
I still have the anxiety etc, but the professionals also suspect Adult ADHD and am waiting for an ADHD assessment. Depression and anxiety can be comorbid with ADHD.
