Your symptoms are EXACTLY what freaked me out nearly 4 years ago, and mine were POST menopause! Looking back, with the knowledge of this site now, I know mine starting to "trickle" in about 6 years before. I always have low pelvic pain, bit like a stitch, and have had many, many negative tests without resolution, but know that I have bad Vulvodynia/vaginal atrophy and, newly for me, IBS, all of which cause the ligaments to pull up tight in spasm, a bit like the opposite of pregnancy! It affects the back, hip, groin and ribs, and for me causes twitching in the muscles. I have posted about this many times, but now have learnt to accept it, sort of! Before I understood, I had such anxiety thinking I was dying of a weird disease, as like most women on this site, had no idea of the devastation, both mental and physical, that hormone depletion could cause, and was equally appalled at the lack of clinical knowledge to reassure me.
Amitriptyline does help the physical side of pain, but can "zonk" you out, good for sleep though! I take Venlafaxine for mental clarity, which has worked really well, but can't take the two together. I am also on a low dose HRT patch, but think I need to increase it a bit, as I notice some of the old symptoms creeping back in!
We all need a different recipe to get us through this, but I just wanted to let you know that many of us have the same symptoms as you. You are very young still, so hopefully, when the worst is over, you will have coped better than someone like me!!
Thinking of you, as completely understand!
