Any upgrades we've had to pay for.  :(  Only did it a couple of times when going across the Atlantic. It was still mighty uncomfortable.  First time there was a really tired toddler in front of us whose parents allowed her to swing from overhead locker above their seat!!! When we went to the Bahamas a few years back we upgraded & got more leg room & leg rests. Still couldn't sleep.

I can't sleep upright. The odd time we've had a seat that goes flat into a bed I've slept.

Yay! Checked in on line. Boarding passes on our smart phones (photocopies in case)
No queue to drop off luggage, no queues for security either! Amazing!
Now chilling in the departure lounge watching the planes and having a decaf.

Sorry for weird typing - tiny keyboard on phone!

Just back from a lovely week, self-catering in a great place in Ullapool.  We didn't really do an awful lot and it rained half the time, but I've come back feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready to get going again, and I think Hubby's the same.  After a fracture, a cold, a course, work and ongoing Dad commitments, I really needed a break and I got it.   Money well spent.

Ullapool is a trek from the Midlands too but I went aged 11 and loved it.  Almost 10 years ago we went to Dornie, took 9 hours but once we got round Glasgow we felt we were really on holiday  :-*

Enjoy Cornwall!  Will you go out on the cruiser?  I would be fine as long as I didn't need to find a parking space  ;D

We're going off tomorrow for second main holiday - to our usual spot on Cornwall. Not looking forward to having to drive down towing the 17 foot sailing cruiser (me) while husband drives the VW. I really hate having to tow it - but have done it twice before - the VW is left hand drive otherwise I would drive that but have never driven LH drive vehicle and I can barely reach the pedals anyway as I am so short!Hurdity x  :)
Hats off to you, Hurdity!  Have a great time  :)

Have a fabulous time Hurdity - I don't envy you towing the cruiser but I'm sure you'll do just fine!

Taz x  :)
