Just wondered if anyone had ever been to Italy, My hubby has suggested it as our next holiday destination but he doesn't know where in Italy, I have been looking on line and now im totally confused! He wanted a villa holiday, near the sea, with good restaurants close by but also a good location for sight seeing.......  does anyone have any ideas of the best area to look? Thanks

Love Italy.  Sorrento is lovely and lots of sightseeing nearby.  Also love Venice.

We have postponed our trip to Derbyshire - should have set off in the camper on Monday morning.  Having suffered with early morning anxiety which means I have to dash to the bathroom, I decided it better to stay here and let the 40mg BB take effect; rather than having to struggle into jeans, wellies etc. to visit a toilet block ……… where there might be others ………

I had to 'pull' from next week or I would have had more anxiety, also the forecast isn't good  ;) - add to that news of a sudden bereavement ……… better off here with 'days out'.

Sounds sensible CLKD. Absolutely no point in putting yourself through misery if you don't have to.
Holidays are supposed to be relaxing and not an indurance test.

Plenty of other weeks when you are feeling stronger.

Yep.  I had anxiety when out and about yesterday but managed to contain it, I was in the camper watching wild-life.

Thanks - that's what I felt, let the BBs kick in again and gain more control  ;)

Can't you pack the camper and go on on a day you feel good.  Camp sites won't be full at this time of the year.

Robotwars we went to Lake Garda in 1979. Surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning! We weren't in the nicest spot, Bardilino, but other bits round the lake were lovely. My brother has also visited a couple of the other big lakes there & was blown away with the scenery.

Sorry HB never replied about why hubby won't cross the water. TBH because he's stuck in his ways & won't budge!
