Hugh Jackman and Michael Fassbender - watch their dance on YouTube, they are so cool.

Rod Stewart and Elton John - they would be great together, they call each other Phyliss and Sharon and I have loved Rod since I was fourteen.

Miriam Margolyes - because she is such a riot whenever she is on Graham Norton.

Jose Mourinho - quite simply because he is the 'special one' and Rod loves football.

Maureen Lipman - she is extremely wise, witty and entertaining - and starred with Hugh Jackman in Oklahoma at The National, would also get on well with Miriam.

Just room for me to make 8 of us.

Hi CLKD, I love Maureen Lipman too, her husband Jack Rosenthal died from multiple myeloma as did mine so I feel an affinity with her, they were both treated by the same team at the Royal Marsden - sorry gone off topic a bit, great thread by the way

I loved Maureen when she took 'Joyce Grenfell' around the UK several years ago.  I am a Joyce fan too - 'George.  Don't do that'  …….

I liked the stuff that Jack wrote too …….. some illnesses are so un-necessary  ……..

My husband adored Maureen Lipman too, we went to see her in Re Joyce years ago. She wrote a book of poems in aid of research for multiple myeloma and we went to see her do some readings from it not long after Jack died and about two months before my husband died, we had a chat with her and she was so lovely to us  xx
