Wish I could find a use for it.

If you know anyone who keeps goats they will eat anything including christmas trees.

I've seen goats happily eating an old xmas tree - like everything perhaps in moderation.

Ours had been up for a few weeks and was so dry when we took it out that my husband chopped it up and we've used it in the wood burner! Apparently it's lucky to burn christmas greenage  ;)

The trunk burnt normally and the branches with pine needles went up like sparklers  :)  I had to shove them in and close the doors quickly  :o

One year i tried burning pieces of conifer tree hedge we'd had had cut down on a bonfire - not a good idea as it all flared up - too much resin in pine - not good for your chimney either.

Next time i paid the person who cut our hedge to take all the cuttings away.

What a pity - if you look at their website they are open weekends in Jan - also says no cheques or card payments in the coffee and gift shop - just in case you go again on a cold day and get caught out without cash.

Oh I won't be going again!  On their web-site it states in red that they are open daily ….. and there is a sign in Linton saying 'Zoo open today'  >:( …….. it's a trek.  Someone looking at the web-site shouldn't have to scroll down to find out which days they are actually open ….. I would have rung the bell on the gate but DH didn't want confrontation  :( and it's a trek from here!

Other Zoos are open daily except C.mas so they will get my money.  How a Zoo can be open on weekends but not in the week …….. surely they need monies to feed the animals  :-\

It doesn't actually say Open Daily CLKD - it says weekend openings http://www.lintonzoo.com/ but maybe they have updated it?  What a shame you had a wasted journey. I love Linton Zoo.

"OPENING TIMES

"The zoo is currently open from 10.30am closing at 4.00pm.
Last admission 1 hour before closing. "

in large RED letters  >:( - currently is the key word : having read the above I didn't scroll down the page ……… and the large banner 'Zoo Open Today' in the village is different to weekends how exactly?  They have lost my money …….

Our artificial tree has finally been shoved into the loft  ::) …….
