I had a chat yesterday to my cousin about Christmas  baubles, she has a colour theme and only red or silver round baubles this year, my tree is crammed with decorations I’ve collected on my holidays, lots of penguins and a few owls (not onions  ) they bring back happy memories when we decorate, whats on your trees ladies ?

I'm really in the Christmas spirit,just texted all my contacts saying not to send any cards  such a waste of money as we are always away over Xmas and new year (hopefully) but all the replies came back agreeing ,saying stamps are really expensive etc and the cards just go into the recycling so,all good.

The room would look so empty without cards and I do enjoy that part of the lead up ......... I wrote a couple today but they aren't really Cmassy.

I don’t put the cards up anymore. One year one fell over and set the burglar alarm off. 🙄

Young people don’t bother with cards, especially Christmas cards.  They may die out eventually

I've skimmed up into the attic  and found boxes kept 'in case' we need to send packages - now in recycling.  Brought down the shopping bag of cards so will require an up2date list to work from.

Yes, I am appreciated! Used to make one for my Dad. GS gets one now! I have to send my recipe to my son. Not a tradition in the USA.

DH meets friends twice a week so I sent along the cards to hand over: he decided it's 'too early'  ......... is it?  I did point out that if we go into complete lock down
