Here here, I only buy presents for people I like,so I quite enjoy that,it's when you've to start buying for EVERYONE that it becomes a pain,we stopped it all in our family as we all agreed it was nonsense and a waste of money.

Too late for family to agree now tho, as they've bought my family presents already, I'll set the ball rolling from this year, I'll tell em I might as well have my presents as they've bought em, no use em going to waste is there...😂🤣

We give an elderly aunt of OH a unicef card,you can give any amount to their charity on behalf of the receiver and they will send a personalised card to the person,it's a really good idea for older people who really don't need to add to the already 234 scented candles in their cupboard

While we were in Scotland, one of the properties near to our holiday property had their Christmas decs & lights up. Honestly thought you would be bored of them by Christmas Day!!

We used to have a lot to buy 4 but gradually cut down the list for various reasons.  Now I need to decide on what to give DH

Oh no I don't like to look at turkeys, I'm afraid my neck is going to resemble a turkey neck 
But they make lovely sandwiches on Boxing Day

I leave our lights on the tree outside the house all year.  Switched on in Dec..
