Began taking down this morning, but it's OH SO COLD out there  so am doing those in stages.  It's cold in our loft space too .......

After a very stressful and difficult two and a half years things have started to improve.  I'm actually looking forward to Xmas this year as it will hopefully be the first one in three years with no major worries.

Now I never thought I would say that.

Can you enjoy it on my behalf too?  I can't relax from mid-November onwards

We had a mad one last year. Everyone at ours, though daughter & SIL cooked mains.  I'd quite like a quiet one.

Start planning - maybe a cruise; although finding one that doesn't celebrate ?  ........

It's half a year away CLKD .....chill  . or even follow your own advice. Go away on holiday somewhere......a wintery cottage in Scotland perhaps.

Ours is going to be quiet as I think my DS is going abroad for the big day.

We can't go away other than our usual routine .......

My DD has come home from a holiday in Denmark and Sweden and given me a moose Christmas tree decoration. Too nice to tuck away for 6 months, so it's hanging up somewhere in the house. We have invented a new game called Spot the moose.

Why are we talking about Christmas now. Mid November at the very earliest is the unwritten rule.

Who will be moving the moose about the housse?  It's 6 months to go  - 6 months today it will be All Over .

Whoever feels daft enough! It will stay in place hanging from the beautiful metal fern leaf sculpture on the wall until GS finds it, then we will hide it from Grandad.
