I love Christmas but also feel really sad that my parents are no longer with us. It's also a reminder of when the children were all small and Christmas was magical for them. Now it tends to be a worry over how to fit everyone in and making sure that they all have a relaxing time without me ending up all frazzled!

CLKD - Mabon is the Autumn equinox (22 September this year), Sahmain is 31 October and Yule is the Winter Solstice (21 December).

I do love to see them all - a hotel wouldn't be the same somehow as coming home for Christmas.

Went into town today playing Christmas songs in card factory jingle all the way for heaven's sake it's still October I thought!!

There is a certain shopping channel, that has had Xmas decorations up since September and all they talk about is Xmas  presents......I normally watch a bit of it, but not since September 😡😡🤐🤐

Watirose have flashing lights in their Stores  and other shops are decorating with Autumn/Halloween - I think towns are having window-dressing competitions.  C.cards are 'in' though  ……..

Yeah a fellow shopper!  So have I bought lights. Outdoor ones to string along my back garden fence. Grandkids will love them! Only reason really.
