 ;D ……… sorry  :-X

DH is hoovering.  He keeps looking in the direction of the christmas thingies at the top of the stairs underneath the loft …….. I keep saying 'later' [can't he see that I'm busy too  :(].  Tree is in the lounge so put the lights on again last night  ;) - still making new decs, I think 1 is finished ……… the other I started and still needs baubles tied to it.

The only thing breaking down this morning is me  :-\ - no rhyme or reason

  CLKD.

I am pleased to report the new dishwasher is nestling neatly in its place and is soooo much better in performance. It even has a hygiene programme......ready for son and DIL's twinkle in the eye when they come over to visit, as you can sterilise bottles in it. I washed the kitchen floor at long last, after water leaks and coming and going of people.

The Christmas stuff are now up in the lift. Only 3 days of tripping over them. ::)

The car is home and feeling better, ready for me to venture out next week.

I hated doing bottles that way....so much faffing. My cousin leant me a steam steriliser and it was great. I would have loved a programme on my dishwasher that would have done that.

My son and DIL live in the USA, so any equipment that doesn't need to be brought, stored or borrowed is welcome. If my dishwasher does the job, then brilliant!

Haven't read any of this thread - looks like somewhere to report things breaking...... but during the night our fairly new shower glass (2 years) exploded and shattered like a windscreen (didn't hear it as it's downstairs in shower room!). Wondered what these weird transparent bobbles were doing on the floor when I went in there this morning! Apparently it is a well known phenomenon with toughened glass - something to do with the extreme temperature fluctuation! Glad it has a lifetime guarantee - so hopefully my husband can get another one and fix it (he put it in 2 years ago...)!!

:o ………. did it shatter or did it 'craze' ? It probably only has to be 'out' by a fraction when installed to weaken it? ours has been in for 5+ years and so far …….. although the shower itself does crack loudly as the thermostat settles, goes off like a gun some nights  :o    :o

Gosh that's a shock. And a bit dangerous with glass underfoot? I started this thread as I've had VERY big car costs and various other things breaking down all in a short space of time. It helped to have a rant! ::)
