Talking of hair, my hair has starting curling since starting HRT! My hair has become dryer, but this means I no longer have to wash it everyday. Great side effect! Anyone else had similar experiences?

Not sure about this - I've been using HRT for more than 7 years but been colouring it for many more than that and it is really dry now - horrible -  like straw, I always damp it in the morning, spray on some leave-in conditioner, slap on some volume mousse, and then dry the scrunched up top bits with with the hair dryer to give it some body and to hide when the grey roots are showing through  ;D

It always used to be dryish ie never greasy, but very glossy when I was younger.

I think I must have a try of the olive oil treatment. How often do you recommend doing this karin?

Also I have a small bottle of Argan oil and have never used it. Tiger - do you just leave it in, and do you use it instead of conditioner?

I use shampoo and conditioner (Boots Organix with argan oil), wash both out and then dab dry with a towel, apply neat argan oil to my hair while it's still wet (but not dripping), mostly to the tips, leave it in, then dry/style as usual.  Have to be careful not to use too much argan oil though otherwise it looks like I've had a close encounter with a chip shop!

I like the sound of Karin's olive oil treatment too.  Will give it a try.

Tried the olive oil, applied to wet hair left it on for an hour then washed.  Its not luscious yet but definite improvement, it has a nice shine.  I've started on fish oils 3 6 & 9 so hopefully they'll make a difference aswell

Morning :) have noticed a change in my hair too, I didn't put it down to peri...I wash with conditioner usually, it's been so horribly humid lately though I think this has had a lot to do with the frizz. I changed to the purple bottle john frieda frizz ease serum from the regular one and this seems to have helped a bit.
My hair is really curly but needs a trim I think, am contemplating a Brazillian keratin blow dry thingie, lasts for a bout 3 months, bit pricy but might help make the winter more bearable! X

Evie65 put the olive oil on dry hair, as much as you can bear!! Then wrap in towel or a cheap supermarket turban, at least 1 hour overnite if poss.kiltgirl i use john frieda to fight the frizz also!!

Dry hair, I'll do that next time thanks Karin.

I'm taking the omega fish oils now for a couple of weeks, can't say they've really helped the hair....... I'm still having hot sweats, which now also has an odour 😩 ... I'm taking star flower and primrose aswell.  Any else notice this from since taking supplements?

Evie65, I see you have started fish oil supplements.  I took cod liver oil capsules and they worked wonders for my hair.  They tamed the frizz and made my hair thicker.  Takes a wee while to kick in but does work.
