A poem I wrote about the menopause
« on: September 17, 2014, 08:18:52 PM »

The Change

Aching upon waking
And putting on weight is not great
And other such inconveniences like itching
And everything
That goes with a weak bladder
Like leaking and trotting down the landing
On painful feet and the heat
In the night
The flushes that rise chest up
Palpitations, lack of sexual relations
Through choice of course
Make growing older
Harder but soldier
On......

That's great Jess :)

I can identify with the bit about soldiering on. That's how it feels sometimes, although HRT has helped a lot.

Hope you are working on more verses for all the other symptoms ;D
