Does Anyone Start A Period Like They Used To?
« on: September 10, 2014, 06:03:19 PM »

Up until the last couple of years my periods were all the same- started in the morning, often before I woke up, so I had to be ready, enough on the first day to be careful to always be prepared. The second day very heavy so a day to make a mark on the calendar to avoid too many things. Then pretty normal for the rest of the days and PMT gone.

Fast forward to these meno times. PMT worse, and no proper start, just brown staining day after day until finally a bleed. Even then it's not much either, enough for a liner, and lasts many days but never really gets going like before.

My question is for ladies who are going through this or are the other side is this your experience? It is like it wants to start but can't get going. The PMT doesn't fade for ages either.

You have just described my experience over the past two weeks exactly!  I'm on day five of bleed after 7 days of brown but the bleed is very light. It's not got heavier or lighter at all and each day I feel really fed up when it shows no signs of letting up.  My previous cycle has been full on almost immediately for two days with maybe a short break of a day when I thought it had stopped. Sometimes it had but mostly it started again lightly for a day or so then stopped. Not had anything like this before but guessing cause is not ovulating.
