Fem seven sequi

Hi ladies, just wondering whether anyone has tried this HRT.

Ive been prescribed it by my GP.  My main symptoms are sweating at night, hormonal palpitations around the middle of my cycle and before and during my period.  Lack of sex drive (my poor husband!!!).  Leaking urine occasionally, anxiety on and off.  Just generally feeling a bit, well, just not my usual bouncy self.

I would be really interested to read your experiences.

Thanks  :)

I haven't tried this one but depending on where you are in menopause, if this is your first foray into the world of HRT, it should regulate your cycle so that you will get a monthly period instead of missing them, and definitely help with some of the symptoms you describe.

The libido is a different issue which may not respond to conventional HRT. Go to the home page of the forum and do a search for sex drive, and libido and you will see several interesting threads!

If you are almost at menopause (very occasional periods) and your oestrogen has dropped a lot, you may well also benefit from local oestrogen, which can help with bladder issues. have a look at the menu on the left under vaginal and bladder problems, and the treatments for these http://www.menopausematters.co.uk/local.php

I hope this helps - and I am sure there will be a Femseven user along at some point!

Well for 3 months all has been fabulous on the HRT patches - I have felt marvellous  :D. Then just as I was thinking I was sorted out I started having palpitations again and the anxious feelings keep welling up like I've had an adrenaline rush.

I'm still not straight regarding my period - having read that it can take a while for your cycle to settle down when you first take HRT I haven't been too concerned that I've been having 2 periods each month but I'm now wondering whether I may need a higher dose of HRT - what do you think?  Any advice will be gratefully received lol
