estradot 25 and utrogestran
« on: July 08, 2014, 09:02:43 PM »

havent been on the forum for a while. Can I ask for some advice please, I have been using Femseven conti patches for about 5 weeks it was great for my anxiety and sweats at first but then i got a raging bad mood. While on holiday in Spain the patches would not stick and I was in a state, I called into a pharmacy who gave me estrogen only 50 mgs patches to keep me going until I got home it felt like someone had switched my lights on. I have been to GP tonight and I now have 25mg estrogen patches but she has given me 100mg of utrogestran for 25 days. My question is does this sound the normal dosage

Yes, I think that's right.  Hopefully others who are using this HRT combo will be along soon to confirm.  Many use the Utrogestan vaginally as it gives fewer side effects - it can make you sleepy so take it at night. Look under HRT Preparations to the left of this screen.  DG x

Utrogestan is bio-identical so many women find it great and it is described as "breast friendly"!!! DG x
